True North Log Corners
The strength of any building is the corner. The cornerstone, as
they say, of a log home is even more important. The major problem
is log home corner joinery separation. True North has resolved
this problem by incorporating their patented Keylock Air Seal Corner® into
every True North home!
True North applies only the most advanced corner systems and technologies
into your log home. These systems include the dovetail, saddlenotch
and post corners, unlike other builders who opt for the easier
to produce "butt and pass" system, which is prone to
separation due to a lack of interlocking capabilities. True North
backs up their corner technology with a 25-Year Zero Air
Infiltration Warranty.
Proven by design to be the most durable method of construction,
the dovetail corner has unique water-shedding capabilities. All
angles lead out of the corners so water will never remain at the
joint.
The saddlenotch system creates a traditional log cabin appearance,
while the incorporation of interlocking logs strengthen the corner.
