Log Wall System
The True North Patented Postlock Corner
A
round hole is factory drilled in the end of the log which is to
be joined to the post. At the factory, a keyway slot is milled
into the post.
A polypropylene key spline similar to the True North butt spline
is installed in the hole in each course of log and inserted into
the key shaped slot in the post.
Asphalt impregnated foam tape is used to wrap the two piece spline
to ensure an airtight seal in keeping with the True
North 25-Year "Zero" Air
Infiltration Warranty.
Advantage:
This
technology is used by True North to butt a wall to an existing
wall as well as a post. This system provides the first and only
efficient method of having angles in a log wall other than the
normal ninety degrees. This technology is especially useful in
creating desirable prow fronts without the unsightly crossing over
of each course of logs.
*Systems shown and used by True North Log Homes Inc. are protected
by patents and patents pending - U.S.A. and Canada.
