It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and family member, Steven John Wrightman. Steve spent 28 years with True North Log & Timber Homes as a Sales & Design Consultant. Throughout those years, he was not only a trusted professional but also a valued friend and colleague. His dedication, expertise, and commitment made him an essential part of our team. His loss is felt deeply by all of us.
To thousands of clients across the world, Steve was the steady hand who guided them through one of the most meaningful projects of their lives. He was known as the “Cabin King” for his creativity in helping families achieve their dream within their budget, and as our “Steve-O-Pedia” because he always had the answer and could explain it with patience and clarity. His knowledge was unmatched, but it was his kindness, humility, and respect that truly set him apart.
Steve lived by principles of integrity and service. He treated everyone with dignity, brought calm where there was stress, and gave his time freely whenever someone needed help. He built more than homes — he built trust, friendships, and lasting bonds.
He never hesitated to roll up his sleeves, to volunteer, to step in when the company or a client needed him. Gentle and humble, with a quiet wit and a laugh that lifted the hardest days, Steve was a true team player and a true friend.
Outside of work, Steve was a devoted husband, father, and papa. He was also deeply committed to his community. Through his involvement with the Shriners and his Masonic brotherhood, he gave generously of himself to help others. As a 2nd degree black belt in karate, he carried the same discipline, patience, and encouragement on the mats that he did with clients and colleagues.
The sadness we feel in losing Steve is matched only by our gratitude for the years we shared with him. He was a colleague, a friend, a brother, and an uncle. His legacy will live on in every project he touched, every handshake he offered, and every home that bears the mark of his care.
Rest easy, Steve — brother in spirit, servant in heart, and warrior in discipline. Your work here is complete, but your spirit lives on in all of us.
